Our artful, joyous journey is in the past but our memories of San Miguel de Allende will forever stay with us. Dream on and hold on to those memories! We loved having you stay with us, create with us, and best of all, share laughter and friendships with us.
Happy Holidays!

Our Totem de Vida published!

Just had our final meeting before we head off on our wonderful workshop in San Miguel de Allende for Day of the Dead.  We were so excited to see this year's project featured in Cloth Paper Scissors. If you haven't already received your copy, I would hurry out to Barnes and Noble and pick up a copy. The folks at CPS did a fantastic job of photographing our Totem de Vida, capturing the vibrant colors of Mexico! Here we are at our meeting with our project and magazine article proudly displayed!
The 4 Amigas-Jane, Helen, Lynn and Laurie (Leslie our trusty coordinator was taking the pic!)

It was a grueling meeting ironing out all the details! Just joking....our meetings are at a yummy coffee shop and are usually 3 hours in length...and they involve a lot of laughing! But we do work too!
Ironing out the final details

Here is a little glimpse of our project which we were all obviously excited to photograph, hence the dualing I-Pads!  See you soon!

Happy 2014

It is hard to believe that it is already February ,2014.
Jane LaFazio, Helen Shafer Garcia, Laurie Mika and Lynn Leahy are so excited about their upcoming Day of the Dead workshop, Totem De Vida.
With the holidays behind us we forge ahead in the planning process of our workshop to make this the best teaching, art and travel experience possible.
San Miguel De Allende is full of color and inspiration at every turn and the folk art example in this photo is just a small sample.
It is The Tree of Life, sculpted from clay.
You will see many such fabulous pieces as you walk the city.
The colors in this piece are typical of the vibrancy that makes San Miguel a feast for the eyes and one of the many reasons we continue coming back.
